went for commuity service this two days.
there is so much that i wanted to share. but i m lazy to upload the pics.
just some words and photos soon. ((:
we went to METTA HOME at Marsiling.
for your info its a home for intellectually or physically disabled people.
and YES when we first went there they look so scary to us!
i don really dare to go near them afraid that they might hurt us or sth.
and there are even old ppl there who called us "kor kor" "jie jie"
and we were like wth! huh
BUT THIS IS ONLY THE FIRST IMPRESSION!
i feel so gulity for looking down at them in the first place.
they have permanent residents there and they also provide day care.
we went over to the day care cos their conditions are less serious.
but actually there are some who are autistic and you cant communicate with them.
some with walking difficulties due to down syndrome or intellectually disabled(ID)
but after playing and interacting with them for 2 days.
i actually find that they are quite cute in their own way
and they are all so strong! and they are talented! OMG!
they can do math so fast and do word puzzle so fast!
even we normal ppl cant compare with them.
wenshou and i went out with small grp of them to pasir ris park and to tampines's giant.
i can proudly say that next time on the street with i see ppl like them i wont to scared anymore((:
YAY!
we made a promise that we will go back next time to visit them and play with them.
though we are bored at times and donno wad to play with them.
WENSHOU MUST BE ONE OF THEM!
he can communicate with them so well!
really must give him TWO THUMBS UP! =D
overall we all enjoyed ourselves there. (i guess so) =X haha
went to meet jer and co. ytd and watched YESMAN!
YES! its a nice show! haha damn funny!
